Monica was introduced to yoga at a young age by her yogi grandmother, Nonnie. It wasn’t until 2021, however, that her practice became consistent. Initially sought out to help manage anxiety, Monica quickly learned of the overwhelming benefits yoga has to offer. Inspired to help others and follow in her Nonnie’s footsteps, Monica completed her RYT 200 right here at Niantic Yoga Studio. Her classes aim to provide clarity through connection to breath, confidence and community in an inclusive space, and serve as an internal reset through a good stretch. When off the mat, Monica enjoys creative writing, tennis, and spending time with her husband, stepdaughter, and two pomeranians, Phoebe and Peach.
