Emily’s love of yoga is rooted in the sense of connection she believes flows from the practice. Connection to other beautiful souls, Mother Nature and of course the connection to self.
Her classes are open to all abilities, always a non-judgemental space filled with encouragement, understanding and good energy. Emily’s goal is that her students leave class feeling peaceful and loved and are able to ride that wave of goodness throughout the rest of their day!
Emily has an undergraduate degree in Art Education and a Masters of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Maine. She received her yoga teaching certification in Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga from Yogatrotter Academy at the Niantic Yoga Studio.
Outside of yoga Emily enjoys long walks on the beach, thrifting, swimming, reading, drinking too much coffee, making art and begging her husband for a puppy.
Eventually Emily hopes to host retreats combining her love of nature, art and yoga so stay tuned!
