Oriana is originally from Venezuela and moved to the U.S. in 2021.
She first tried yoga at age 15 while she was a competitive swimmer but stopped practicing for many years. In 2024, something called her back to yoga, and she found Niantic Yoga. The studio changed her life in many ways. She found a meaningful community, made friends, and experienced healing in areas she didn’t even realize needed attention. After practicing consistently for over a year, she completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Megan Mulrine.
What Oriana loves most about Niantic Yoga is that everyone is welcomed with a smile, just as she was on her very first visit. The studio has a special energy that makes everyone feel like they belong, and she hopes to bring that same feeling into her classes. As a bilingual teacher, she offers yoga in both English and Spanish, welcoming everyone who wants to practice.
She loves teaching Hatha yoga because it combines strength, flexibility, and mindfulness through the breath. To her, it’s a moving meditation that leaves you feeling different, both physically and mentally. She sees herself as a student first, always learning and growing through yoga.
Outside the studio, Oriana loves spending time with her husband and son, connecting with new people, getting together with friends, enjoying nature, and traveling whenever possible.
