30hr Yin Yoga Teacher Training

Start Date: December 1, 2023 @ 03:00 PM
Pricing: $600

Add a new yoga style to your teaching repertoire by learning to guide students in the healing practice of yin yoga! Open to those who have already completed a 200hr Yoga Teacher Training with any school, join Yogatrotter Academy at the Niantic Yoga Studio for this 30hr Yin Yoga Teacher Training.

In the style and lineage of Bernie Clarke, over three consecutive weekends in December, we’ll explore the interweaving of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Yoga Asana that’s unique to yin yoga. We’ll explore where Yin comes from, the 5 elements and how they impact your life and emotions, the anatomy and science of yin and Chinese Medicine, teaching techniques, and the principles and physiology behind the practice.

By the end of this training, you’ll be able to confidently teach over 60 different yin poses, which meridian lines they open, and how that influences the mind and emotions, in a peaceful, slow-moving practice–providing the perfect balance to the “yang” energy of vinyasa yoga.

The schedule is as follows:
Saturday, Dec 02 | 1:00-6:00pm
Sunday, Dec 03 | 3:00-6:00pm

Saturday, Dec 09 | 1:00-6:00pm
Sunday, Dec 10 | 3:00-6:00pm

Saturday, Dec 16 | 1:00-6:00pm
Sunday, Dec 17 | 3:00-6:00pm
Plus 2 hours of at-home reading, studying, and assignments each week, for a total of 30 hours.

This training counts for 30 hours of Yoga Alliance Continuing Education. Every registered yoga teacher is required to complete 30 hours of continuing education every three years in order to maintain their yoga teacher registration through the Yoga Alliance. This course counts for all 30 hours.
