Join us for a heart-opening evening of ceremonial cacao and sacred Sanskrit mantras led by Niantic Yoga’s kirtan band, The Omies! Kirtan is the life-affirming practice of singing ancient mantras and prayers in community with loving souls to recognize our blissful one-ness with the universe and one another.
The Omies is a joy-filled and devotional kirtan band comprised of Justine Wheeler on harmonium and vocals, Megan Mulrine on harmony and harmonium, Kevin Gallagher II on percussion (including the mridanga), and Rebecca Pepitone on guitar and back-up vocals. They’re style is fun, devotional, warm, and welcoming. Every human is a singer, and no experience or skill is necessary to use the beautiful instrument of your voice.
