10:00: Yoga Therapy for Everyone with Lisa Terenzio
Yoga Therapy is for Everyone! Using small, incremental movements and heightened awareness, we begin to deepen the dialogue between our bodies and our minds. Yoga therapy takes the principles of yoga and meditation and delivers them in an individualized protocol to create an empowering approach for improved health, mindfulness and multifaceted wellbeing.
10:30: Yoga for Recovery with Rebecca
A fresh way to handle addiction, develop new perspectives for handling intense emotions and sitting with cravings and resisting. Through movement and yoga poses, we will explore thoughts and feelings with the goal of strengthening the connection to Self and developing a better understanding of dealing with emotions, tamping reactions and being present, awake, and aware.
11:00: Vinyasa Yoga Basics with Emily
Join Emily to learn the foundational philosophy and movements of Vinyasa Flow yoga, and how to modify poses for your needs. In this 30 minute session, Emily will share the basics of Vinyasa Flow Yoga. We’ll begin with a simple movement meditation practice that links breath and movement, followed by a breakdown of sun salutations and different modifications. We’ll end with a quiet, restorative relaxation to melt away stress.
11:30: Meditation for Anxiety with Rebecca
This guided meditation will take you on a journey to your own private inner sanctuary. Once you find this safe place, you can use it anytime you need to calm your thoughts, your emotions, your feelings. Together we find and focus on calming anxiety using ‘muscle memory’ to bring yourself back to this place anytime you need to help calming and self-soothing.
12:00: Manifest With the Moon, A Womens Circle with Kaitlyn
Women have been manifesting with the Moon for millennia. Now, it’s your turn too! Actively create the life you desire. As women we operate in cycles. Not only our hormones, but also our emotions, thought, and behavior. Just like the seasons change, and the Moon goes through phases, our particular cycle(s) can give us guidance on how and when to act. Learn the four main phases of the Moon and the fears, actions, and tools associated with each one. Following the phases of the Moon is a course in self-mastery. As you follow her phases you learn to witness your own patterns in a new way.
